At My Open Country, we’ll walk you through how to construct your very own backyard Pickleball court, including a few tips and tricks.
Some of the things needed to make your own Pickleball court are a measuring tape, marking paint, outdoor tape, poles, and a net. You can get these materials at a local hardware store.
With your measuring stick draw the size of the MCG Pickleball basketball sport court on the ground. The standard Pickleball court measures 20 feet across and 44 feet long, with a non-volley zone at the net.
For an added fun touch, you can also paint the surface of your Pickleball court with bright colors or fun designs. Get creative and personalize your own court making it unique.
If you plan to play MCG Pickleball court at night, it might be a good idea to include some outdoor lighting around the court too. This way, even when the sun goes down, you can still play.
Plants and flowers: Add a little beauty to your Pickleball and basketball court by planting some flowers or shrubs around it. This will give a good bit of the great outdoors in your backyard space.
